MUSIC MINISTRY OPPORTUNITIES
ADULT CHOIR
Leaders in song
The Adult Choir sings at the 8:00 & 10:00 AM Sunday Masses twice monthly and also at special liturgies (e.g. Christmas and Holy Week). Adult Choir rehearsals are on Thursday evenings from 7:00–9:00 pm from September–May.
CANTORS
Proclaiming the Word
Cantors are skilled singers who proclaim the responsorial Psalm and invite the congregation into corporate worship. Cantors are skilled musicians who are also prayerful, faithful believers and have a passion for leading others in worship. Cantors serve on a rotating schedule and are expected to prepare music individually. Cantors are invited to attend periodic cantor training workshops throughout the year.
INSTRUMENTS
“Praising Him with the harp and the lyre”
Instrumentalists inspire and strengthen parish worship by leading the congregation with the sounds of strings, winds, brass, and percussion. Instrumentalists are invited to contribute their talents by playing at special liturgies (Christmas, Easter) and/or regular weekend Masses. Opportunities exist for solo, ensemble, and accompanying work in various settings. Interested musicians should call the parish office.
YOUTH MUSIC MINISTRY
“Make a joyful noise to the Lord”
Young musicians serve the parish by providing lively, youthful music at certain Masses throughout the year. Rehearsal times vary. Please contact the parish office for more information.
